3-Year-Old Flown To Hospital After Being Hit By Car
Police say the extent of the child's injuries are unknown at this time.
A young child was injured and rushed to a hospital after being hit by a car in Freeport Wednesday evening.
According to Nassau County police, a 3-year-old child was struck near the intersection of South Bergen Place and West Merrick Road at 5:13 p.m. They were taken to Cohen Children's Medical Center by helicopter.
Police said the child's injuries were unknown at this time.
