Clinton Writes Letter Thanking 103-Year-Old Long Island Supporter for Her Vote
Dorothy Sellers was born before women had the right to vote. But she made it a point to cast her ballot for Clinton.

Dorothy Sellers, a 103-year-old Freeport resident, was 7 years old when women got the right to vote in the United States. And when she saw that woman was finally nominated as a candidate for one of the two major parties, Sellers made it a point to go to the polls and vote for Hillary Clinton, despite being a lifelong Republican.
Sellers' vote reached the public eye in a profile in the New York Daily News last month. She said she had "no choice" but to vote for Clinton. And she was proud to do so.
And now, Clinton has shown her support for Sellers, sending the centenarian a personal note of thanks for her vote.

"Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for voting for me for president,” Clinton wrote in the letter, according to Newsday.
Sellers told the Daily News that she knew the letter was mainly for public relations, but that it was "nice PR."
