Man in Critical Condition After Nassau Shooting
The 20-year-old man was shot in the chest on Monday night, police say.
BALDWIN, NY - A 20-year-old man is in critical condition after he was shot in the chest on Monday night in Baldwin, according to Nassau Police.
Officers responded to a 911 call in the parking lot at 1289 Grand Avenue for an aided case at about 11:57 p.m. and they found a man who had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest.
Another man was seen entering a black sedan and fleeing in an unknown direction, police said.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition. The investigation is ongoing.
Police did not release the victim's name or a possible motive for the shooting.
