Man Punches, Robs Teen in Freeport
The robber escaped in a white Honda which contained three other men, police say.

FREEPORT, NY - An 18-year-old man was robbed and punched in the jaw by a man in Freeport on Friday afternoon, according to Nassau Police.
The teen was standing on South Bayview and Porterfield Place using his cell phone at about 2:50 p.m. when the robber exited a white Honda, punched the man and took his iPhone 6S, police said.
The robber then got back in the car (which contained three other men, no further description available) and fled southbound on South Bayview Avenue, police said.

The teen refused medical attention.
Detectives request anyone with information regarding the robbery to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
