Nassau Woman Drove Drunk With Child In Car, Caused Crashes: PD
Police say she hit a parked car and then an occupied one before stopping. No one was injured, though.

A Freeport woman was arrested Monday afternoon after police say she caused two accidents while driving drunk, with her young daughter in her car.
According to police, Nadera Beria, 40, of South Ocean Avenue, was driving a 2019 Kia SUV and hit a parked car in front of 87 North Ocean Avenue. She then struck a 2004 Ford pickup truck being driven by a 56-year-old man. Officers responded to the accident, and no one was injured.
Police say that the officers determined Beria was driving drunk and placed her under arrest. Police say she had her 11-year-old daughter in the car at the time of the crashes. The daughter was released to a family member.
