The body of 16-year-old Angel Soler was found buried in the woods last year, killed by MS-13.

Nassau County police have made a third arrest in the murder of 16-year-old Angel Soler, whose body was found buried in the woods in Roosevelt last year.
Police arrested Josue Figueroa-Velasquez, 18, of North Main Street, Freeport. He is charged with second-degree murder.
The body of Soler was found after he had been missing for months. He was last seen leaving his home on July 21, 2017. Police now know that gang members lured him to a wooded area in Roosevelt and brutally murdered him with machetes.

Soler's remains were buried in the woods until police received a tip about where they may be and launched a massive hunt, leading to the recovery of his body in October 2017.
Figueroa-Velasquez's arrest is the third made in connection with Soler's murder. He is scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Wednesday.
