2016 Youth Leadership Contest
Applications need to be received by March 10, 2016
Senator Kemp Hannon announces his 5th Annual Youth Leadership Award Contest. Contest is open to high school Sophomores and Juniors in Senator Hannon’s Sixth Senatorial District.
The Senator encourages students to consider participating in the Youth Leadership Award contest the purpose of which is to honor promising young students who have demonstrated real leadership in their communities. The application categories are either Academics, Athletics, Community Service, School or Overall (a combination of the four (4) categories.)

Applications need to be received by March 10, 2016. They can either be mailed to Senator Kemp Hannon, Attn: Kit Aberman, 595 Stewart Avenue, Suite 540, Garden City, NY, 11530 or emailed to kaberman@nysenate.gov.

Winner notification will go out by April 1, 2016. The award ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2016, 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Uniondale Library Auditorium, 400 Uniondale Avenue, Uniondale.
