4 Children Injured As Car Slams Into Day Care Center: Reports

Four children and one adult suffered minor injuries after a car crashed into a day care center near Hofstra University Tuesday afternoon.

According to ABC7, the driver lost control of the car and jumped the curb, crashing into The Joan and Arnold Saltzman Community Services Center at 1000 Hempstead Turnpike.

Authorities told ABC7 that the car did not enter the building, and that the children were injured by flying debris. The driver also suffered minor injuries.
