A Community Garden Grows in the City

Plots are still available at the community garden at St. Paul's.

The new community garden at St. Paul's is up and running.

Sixteen of the 20 plots are currently taken by residents, families and groups, according to recreation director Kevin Ocker. The garden is mulched and irrigated but residents are responsible for properly maintaining their assigned plots.

"Not all are planted yet but each day a new gardener appears ... It’s generating a lot of interest," Ocker told Patch."Trustee John Watras deserves some recognition for this great suggestion."
