Adelphi University Circle K and Paws and Rewind Christmas Carol for Charity

Adelphi organizations go caroling for a cause.

This past holiday season members of the Adelphi University Circle K International Club, the collegiate level of Kiwanis that is active in community service, and the members of Paws and Rewind, Adelphi’s a cappella group, took a break from their community service and performances to carol around Garden City to raise money for the Adopt-A-Family campaign.

On two different nights, members from both organizations went around Garden City, singing a holiday carol at each doorstep. “It was really nice to spread the holiday cheer and sing Christmas songs with the group all for a good cause.” said the president of Paws and Rewind Rohit Singla, sophomore biology major.

This year students raised a total of $300 to buy clothes, toys, and other gifts for their “adopted” family. “This is one of Circle K International’s annual events. We are thrilled to have Paws and Rewind A cappella group join us again this year,” mentioned Ashley Gitlitz, a junior social work major and president of Circle K.
