Sacred Heart Academy Honoring Alums at Dinner Dance

Sacred Heart Academy will hold its annual dinner dance event March 18 at The Garden City Hotel.

This year, the all-girls high school in Hempstead will be honoring three outstanding alumnae who have each made their mark in their respective fields.

Mary Galligan ’80, is the first female to be named special agent in charge of cyber/special operations for the FBI’s New York Division. Katie Lapp ’74, is the executive vice president of Harvard University. Jo Ann Ross '71, is the president, Network Sales, at CBS Television Network.

“Through their stellar careers, Mary, Katie and Jo Ann personify SHA’s mission to empower women to lead with heart,” says Mary Jo Clarke of the SHA Office of Institutional Advancement.
