Armed Man Stole Cash, Cognac From Nassau Liquor Store

Police are searching for a man who robbed a Uniondale liquor store at gunpoint Monday morning, and they're seeking the public's help to find him.

According to police, a 55-year-old man was working behind the register at Front Street Liquors, located at 1085 Front St., at 10:55 a.m. when a man entered the store and pointed a silver revolver at him. The robber demanded money from the register and forced the employee to open it. When the register was open, the robber grabbed the entire drawer and took two bottles of cognac, then fled west on Front Street.

The robber was a black man, about 6 feet tall and 210 pounds, wearing a black hoodie, black jeans and a black ski mask.
