Fodera has donated money as well as his services for the day.

Beyer’s son Gregory, now 23, has autism. “With the incidence of autism exploding and now being 1 in 68 births, you can’t help but want to spread the awareness and try and help raise some money at the same time.” Beyer is now the Chairman of the LI chapter of Autism Speaks and has worked with the organization since its inception in 2005.

Beyer is the owner of Men on the Move Moving and Self-Storage companies. You can see their trucks rolling all over Long Island, each with an Autism Speaks puzzle piece on their side. Men on the Move has recently opened a 100,000 square foot self-storage facility at 1000 Axxin Ave. in Garden City.
