CHILD MAKES DECLARATION: GIVE ME BOUNCIES...PLEASE

Child Makes Declaration: Give Me Bouncies on Spirit Day…Please St. Anne's Plans Bouncies for All Ages on Saturday, September 19th

Last year, after surveying children unscientifically, it was discovered that KIDS LOVE BOUNCIES. No one was shocked by this news so the recent statement made by a local four-year old (pre-schooler at St. Anne’s School) did not surprise the administration: “Give me bouncies on Spirit Day…please.”

Now, if she had not said please, there may have been hesitation. But powers that be could not resist after her use of polite interjection and decided to continue to have bouncies for the 13th year in a row at Spirit Day.

“There are certain entertainment traditions that must be upheld at Spirit Day,” observed Monsignor Thomas Harold, St. Anne’s Pastor and Spirit Day enthusiast. “The possibility of winning a goldfish. The availability of vast amounts of sugary substances including sweets and cotton candy. Opportunities to soak friends and families in the dunk tank. And the bouncy tradition must too be upheld.”
