'Run for Glory' Belmont Stakes Event Hosted at Cherry Valley Club Benefits Charities Committed to Welfare of Equine and Human Athletes.

Hempstead Town Receiver of Taxes Don Clavin (3rd left), Town Clerk Sylvia Cabana (2nd right) and Councilman Tom Muscarella (2nd left) recognized the efforts of Charitable Impact Group, which hosted the “Run for Glory” Belmont Stakes Handicapping Event at the Cherry Valley Club in Garden City. The event benefited the Thoroughbred Charities of America, the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund and the Belmont Child Care Association. The Charitable Impact Group is a non-profit organization that was established to create awareness of and financially support charities committed to the welfare of equine and human athletes within the Thoroughbred industry.
