• St. Paul's Landmark Exhibit coming to Garden City in November (gcnews.com) — A free, privately funded exhibit on the history of St. Paul's School is coming to Cluett Hall in Garden City on November 14–15, with hours to be announced. Residents can explore archival photos, artifacts, and interactive media highlighting the village's architectural heritage, all without any cost to taxpayers. The event is open to everyone, no registration required. 
• Trump approval rating hits 33%, lowest of his presidency (eciks.org) — Residents may notice Garden City mentioned as the site of an August 14 Trump rally, where he defended higher gas prices as a tradeoff for the ongoing Iran conflict. The broader piece explains his new record-low 33% national approval rating, driven by public concern over the war, inflation, and economic management heading into the November midterms.
• Blakeman Blasts Hochul Over Support For Mamdani (wabcradio.com) — Garden City figured prominently in state politics as Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman spoke at the Mack Center for Training and Intelligence here while attacking Gov. Kathy Hochul's support for Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
