Daniel Gale Realty Begins Coat Drive
The Dougall Fraser Division will be collecting coats until Dec. 18 at the Garden City office.
Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty, Dougall Fraser Division, is currently collecting new and gently used coats, hats, gloves, mittens, and scarves for children, women and men for “The INN” in Hempstead.
The INN operates 19 soup kitchens, three shelters, and a long-term housing initiative across Nassau and Suffolk. The first location was in Hempstead, and started with the support and efforts of Garden City volunteers. The INN is in their 29th year of helping Long Islanders in need.
They will be collecting from Dec. 9 to Dec. 18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Garden City office, which is located at 102 Seventh Street. Look through your closets and drawers for serviceable items that will help those without this winter season.
