Drunken Driver Had Stolen Gun In Car: State Police
Police say the Michigan man was pulled over, and then troopers found the loaded gun and ammunition in the car.

State police arrested a man for drunk driving over the weekend, and found he was also in possession of a stolen gun.
According to police, just after 8 p.m. on Dec. 29, state troopers pulled over a black Pontiac G6 for speeding in the northern lanes of the Meadowbrook State Parkway near exit M3. During the investigation, police say the troopers determined that the driver, Angel M. Zelaya, 35, of Ypsilanti, Michigan, was driving while intoxicated.
During the investigation, police say they also found that Zelaya had a loaded .45 caliber handgun in the car which was reported stolen from Taylor, Michigan, as well as a box of ammunition with 90 rounds.

Zelaya was arrested and charged with DWI and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He is scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead.
