"Blues for an Alabama Sky" at NCC

Nassau Community College’s Black History Month Committee will present a series of programs throughout the month of February to honor African-American accomplishments.

On January 26 to 29 and February 1 to 5, join NCC for “Blues for an Alabama Sky” a play by Pearl Cleage which looks at “artists, writers and luminaries bask in the glory and the hope of the Harlem Renaissance "for a red hot minute,” according to a press release from the school. Performances are at 8 p.m. daily, 3 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets can be ordered at the theatre box office by calling (516) 572-7676.
