Garden City Key Club Day of Beauty and Fashion to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation
Beat Those Dog Days of Winter!
On Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm, the Garden City High School Key/Interact Club will host “A Day of Beauty and Fashion” at the High School.
The Key /Interact Club is dedicated to community service. The Club works in conjunction with the local branches of the Kiwanis Club of Garden City and the Mineola-Garden City Rotary Club. The Key/Interact Club has fund-raised for many organizations, including Kamp Kiwanis, the Gift of Life, American Cancer Society, March of Dimes, Mary Brennan Inn, and many other organizations.
All proceeds earned by the Key/Interact Club for its “Day of Beauty and Fashion” will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which has been dedicated to fulfilling the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses since 1980. At the event, moms, grandmoms, aunts and daughters can browse and shop for their favorite Valentine at many fun and exciting vendor booths! We will also hold a Fashion Show as well as conduct clinics in yoga, skin care, hair styling and care. Refreshments will also be served. There will be raffle prizes. Girl Scouts participating will earn a Badge. What better way to have some fun with your favorite girls while benefitting a wonderful foundation.
