A group art show entitled “The Rembrats 2012” will be exhibited January 9–28, 2012 in the Garden City Public Library’s lower gallery. View pastel portraits and landscapes created in various styles designed by students who study with award-winning instructor Arleen Rueth Urban. Participants will include artists from the Recreation Dept. of Garden City, the Garden City Community Club, as well as students from the instructor’s private studio.
A display presented by St. Joseph’s School will be exhibited in the Garden City Public Library’s showcases January 3–27, 2012. Samples of student work, artwork, photos and school programs will be exhibited in celebration of Catholic Schools Weeks, which runs from Jan. 29 through Feb. 3, 2012.
