Friends of the Garden City Public Library will celebrate the 10th anniversary of their Monday Movie Matinees on Monday, September 12, 2011 with a reception beginning at 1:00pm at the Garden City Public Library located at 60 Seventh St., Garden City, NY. It will be followed by an encore presentation of the most popular movie of the last 10 years. Co-hosts Sal Catania & Steve Sanossian are keeping the title of this film a closely guarded secret. In the last decade, over 425 films have been shown with a combined attendance of over 20,000 patrons. Seating and parking is limited and on a first-come basis. No tickets are required to attend.
