A highlight of the LICM Mid-Autumn Festival weekend is the premiere of a new play by celebrated playwright and director Nguyen thi Minh Ngoc. LICM audiences will be introduced to a schoolteacher eager to introduce five folktales passed down through the generations to her students. Traditional costumes, music and set illustrations bring the folk tales introduced in the Dragons & Fairies exhibit to life. The production will be performed in Vietnamese with English narration. Following the production, audience members are invited to join in a Dragon Dance and meet the cast and playwright.
Tickets are required for this production and are available at the LICM box office on a first-come, first-served basis.
All ages. Free with Museum admission.
