A Long Island Favorite:Mill Neck Family’s Fall Harvest FestivalOctober 8 and 9
Mill Neck Family’s Fall Harvest Festival annually brings the best of the autumn season to Long Island. This year’s Festival, to be held on October 8 and 9 from 9 am to 5 pm at 40 Frost Mill Rd. in Mill Neck, NY, will be better than ever. Located on the grounds of a historic Gold Coast estate, between Oyster Bay and Bayville, the Festival, also known as Apple Fest, has a wide variety of apples, handmade country crafts, grilled bratwurst, roasted corn and so much more.
Children’s Area Bursting with Fun and Games!
Visitors will find a Cheese House, mouth-watering baked goods, jellies, fudge and strudels, a full-line of famous Karl Ehmer wurst and bacon products and a Gourmet Shop. Bring the kids and visit the popular children’s activities area, bursting with fun and games, which includes a pumpkin patch with children’s authors who will read their books to little ones on both days.
New This Year!
A new Hospitality Tent will be available this year, located near the apples. Featuring mementos celebrating Mill Neck’s four anniversaries – Mill Neck Manor School for the Deaf is 60 years old, Mill Neck Services for Deaf Adults is 25 years old, the Mill Neck Manor Early Childhood Center is 20 years old and Mill Neck Family’s Fall Harvest Festival is 50 years old – the tent is THE place to learn about our history, purchase commemorative t-shirts and pins and peruse sign language novelty items and gifts. This is also the place to share memories and enter a special raffle. All guests, staff and alumni students should be sure to visit this unique area!
…and There’s More!
Visitors can also participate in our successful 50/50 Raffle. Tickets are $10 each, and the winner receives half of all money collected. There will also be opportunities to learn about the Deaf, Mill Neck Manor School and our services.
