
Crossroads Farm At Grossmann’s And The Ethical Humanist Society Of Long Island are co-hosting a Thursday Night Movie Series On Food Sustainability And Challenges For A Hungry Planet. On September 27, the film will be "Forks Over Knives" a film that focuses on research by two food scientists that reveals that despite broad advances in medical technology, the popularity of animal-based and modern processed foods have led to epidemic rates of obesity, diabetes, and other diseases. Discussion Leaders include Judy Griffin of Nourishing Solutions for Life and Ethical Humanist Society Director Calvin Dame. Ticket price includes refreshments!
