Baritone Frank Hendricks and singer/pianist Linda Pratt, costumed in period attire, have been performing 19th century music together for many years at Old Bethpage Village Restoration. Come join them in an afternoon of musical americana as they perform songs and compositions from the mid 19th century, both comic and serious, familiar and novel, including many that were popular during the Civil War. They accompany themselves on piano, guitar, and 5-string banjo and provide historical information about the songs and their composers. For those who are so inclined, there will be ample opportunity to sing along on many of the choruses.
