Carmen, a sultry, wild & beautiful Gypsy girl steals the heart of the hapless Don Jose. In staged highlights including all the major scenes, we see Carmen seduce Don Jose in order to escape from prison, then she brutally abandons the soldier who deserted his regiment for her when she falls in love with the dashing bullfighter, Escamilo. Driven mad by jealousy, Don Jose kills Carmen rather than see her with another man.
