The Riches of the Spirit, at St. Anne's
As previously reported, the annual festival at St. Anne's parish, known as Spirit Day, will be held on Saturday, September 18th. Rides, attractions, fun and food will be plentiful on that day.
The final event of the evening will be the drawing of the Big Bucks raffle winners. Up to 1,000 tickets will be sold at $100 each. Assuming all tickets are sold; the Grand Prize winner will collect $25,000 and each of the five first place winners will collect $5,000. The remaining monies will be used by the various Parish ministries. This will help to support those in need and develop the faith formation of our Parishioners.

In previous years, the monies collected from the Big Bucks raffle have helped to fund some major projects at St. Anne's. Two of the previous Big Bucks recipient projects were the Chapel fund and the Elevator fund.
The St. Therese Chapel, dedicated in honor of the late Msgr. William Costello, has proven to be a source of inspiration to many, including the St. Anne's School children. More recently, the St. Anne's elevator has allowed those with limited mobility to gain access to both the School and the Church. This has enabled countless others to take part in the numerous activities within the Church and the community.
