The Homecoming, Harold Pinter’s most controversial and compelling play, is to be presented by The Ethical Players in June at the Ethical Humanist Society of Long Island in Garden City. The Homecoming is a two-act play written in 1964 by Nobel laureate, Harold Pinter, and first published in 1965. The original Broadway production won the 1967 Tony Award for Best Play and its 40th-anniversary Broadway production at the Cort Theatre was nominated for a 2008 Tony Award for "Best Revival of a Play.”Â
Performances are Saturdays, June 11, 18 and 25 at 8 pm and Sundays, June 12 and 19 at 2:30 pm. Doors open half hour before the performances; seating is intimate and limited.
There will be a discussion of the play for those who wish to stay afterward. Suggested donation: $20.
