THE GARDEN CITY HOTEL HOSTS BEDELL CELLARS ON THE PATIO IN A LONG ISLAND WINE TASTING COCKTAIL PARTY
The Garden City Hotel announces a Long Island Wine Tasting Cocktail Party with award-winning wines from Bedell Cellars (www.bedellcellars.com) and butler passed hors d’oeuvres hand-crafted by Chef Steven De Bruyn on Thursday, October 13 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. for $65 per person.
The patio, steps from the luxury property’s grand entrance, is set in lush garden surroundings seasonally open through autumn. It affords privacy in an open-air and lounge-like milieu for an intimate yet lively social scene amidst the lavish backdrop and rich heritage of The Garden City Hotel.

Tastings from the award-winning vineyard will include the 2008 Merlot, 2009 Cabernet Franc, 2010 Viognier and 2009 Gallery Chardonnay. Offering key insights about the selections, Bedell Cellars and Long Island Wine Country will be Bedell Cellars Vice President Jean Partridge.

The menu of Long Island bounty will extend to butler-passed hors d’oeuvres hand-crafted by Chef Steven De Bruyn who is known for his culinary artistry using the finest and freshest of seasonal and organic ingredients. The event will be followed by dinner and wine specials at the hotel’s signature restaurant, REIN, from 8:00 p.m.
