
Recognized as “the most exciting piano trio in America” by The New Yorker and “consistently brilliant” by the New York Times, Trio Solisti will perform a concert on Saturday, October 15, 2011, at 8:00 p.m., in the Adelphi University Performing Arts Center (AU PAC) Concert Hall, 1 South Avenue, Garden City, NY.
Trio Solisti’s critically acclaimed musicians–violinist Maria Bachmann, cellist Alexis Pia Gerlach, and pianist Jon Klibonoff, have earned a reputation for their ability to perform a broad spectrum of styles and have collaborated with some of the finest musicians in the world. They are frequent guests of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, and have been broadcast nationally on American Public Media’s Saint Paul Sunday and National Public Radio’s Performance Today.
At the concert, Trio Solisti will present Robert Schumann’s Fantasiestücke, Op. 88, Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Trio in B flat Major, "Archduke", and Ernest Chausson’s Piano Trio in G minor, Op. 3.
