New for the holidays, in a series of themed children’s tea parties launched this year, is The Nutcracker Tea, inspired by the classic and seasonal ballet.
Special guests, ballerinas from the The Eglevsky Ballet (www.eglevskyballet.com), who perform The Nutcracker in December at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts in Brookville, NY, will pose for photographs and give autographs. There will also be a reading of the Nutcracker classic story of Clara and the Nutcracker Prince along with a children’s craft activity.
The Nutcracker Tea takes place on Saturday December 10 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The cost is $39 per person and is free for under two-year-olds.

The tea menu will include an assortment of tea sandwiches, pastries and cookies with a selection of teas and chilled beverages.
