Long Island teens and tweens will have a chance to rock out at Roosevelt Field during Simon dTour Live®. The event offers fun and free interactive elements with a performance by one of today’s hottest up-and-coming bands - We The Kings, a power pop band from Bradenton, Florida. On July 5, the band’s newest album ‘Sunshine State of Mind’ was released on itunes and hit #3 on its main album chart. As part of the event, Coca-Cola is inviting teens to participate in their new mobile SCVNGR program at the Coca-Cola dTour booth, where teens can learn how to use the smart phone app, get a free mini sleek can of Coca-Cola and see how they can win prizes. Teens will be able to gleek out to their favorite songs, compete in Glee trivia, and win great prizes at the “Glee Karaoke” booth.
The 2011 edition of Simon dTour Live® kicks off at Roosevelt Field on July 9 and wraps on August 20 after playing 14 Simon properties across the country.
