'Free Slurpee Day' Gets Even Bigger
A cheap ticket to Six Flags makes this year's 7-11 day even better.

July 11, or 7-11, is well-known throughout the country as "7-Eleven Day," where residents can pick up a free Slurpee at the popular convenience store.
This year marks the 85th anniversary of 7-Eleven and the franchise will continue its annual tradition by giving away free 7.11-ounce Slurpees from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
As a bonus this year, according to 7-Eleven's Slurpee website, anyone who brings a receipt date 7-11-12 from 7-Eleven to Six Flags, will get into the park for just $7.11 after -- you guessed it -- 7:11 p.m.

With the receipt, park goers will not only get in for $7.11, but they will also get an extra hour of "ride time on select thrill rides" for 7-Eleven's exclusive after-dark event.
7-Eleven is located on the north side of the Merillon Avenue train station.
