Multiple unauthorized transactions exceeding $3,000 were reportedly charged against a resident’s credit card account on Feb. 21.

Police Officers assisted the Garden City Fire Department with a report of a carbon monoxide alarm at 520 Franklin Ave. on Feb. 22. Upon investigation, no dangerous air levels were detected. The activation was apparently caused by a faulty detection system.

After an investigation, detectives arrested a 57-year-old man from Westbury for burglary on Feb. 23. The man entered the Soup Bistro on Jan. 22 by breaking the front door and removing money from a cash register.

Officers responded to a traffic light malfunction at the intersection of Washington Avenue at Eleventh Street on Feb. 23.

Officers investigated a criminal mischief to the air pump compressor at the Mobil Station on Franklin Avenue on Feb. 24.

Officers safeguarded a vehicle that accidentally turned onto the tracks at the Garden City Railroad Station and became lodged in the track bed on Feb. 24. All occupants were safely removed from the vehicle. The vehicle was removed from the track bed by Nassau County Emergency Service officers.

On Feb. 25, officers investigated a report of a man driving a black four-door sedan in Parking Field 8 who pulled up to a female victim and asked for directions while committing a lewd act. The man is 20-30 years old, unshaven, wearing glasses, a black hat and a dark colored jacket.

As a result of heavy rains on Feb. 25, officers responded to reports of flooding conditions at various locations within the village.

Loose change was reported stolen from a vehicle parked at a Euston Road residence on Feb. 26. A pair of sunglasses was reported stolen from a vehicle parked at a Kensington Road residence the same day.

Officers investigated a criminal mischief to the St. Paul’s building on Feb. 26; two windows on the west side of the building were found broken.

As a result of a domestic incident investigation on Feb. 27, officers arrested a 43-year-old man from Roslyn for sending threatening emails to a female family member who lives in Garden City. He was charged with aggravated harassment.

Officers investigated a report of a man who entered CVS Pharmacy, removed several medicine packages from a shelf, and then left the store without paying on Feb. 27.

During a traffic accident investigation on County Seat Drive on Feb. 27, officers charged a 54-year-old woman from Oyster Bay with driving with a suspended license, unlicensed operation and uninsured operation.

As a result of a traffic stop investigation on Stewart Avenue on Feb. 27, a 38-year-old woman from Hempstead was charged with driving with a suspended license, unregistered vehicle, improper license plates, uninsured operation and uninspected vehicle.
