Upon investigation, Officers arrested a 26-year-old man from Atlantic Beach on March 15 on Bayberry Avenue for the possession of several glassine bags of heroin and cocaine. He was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Garden City detectives arrested a 26-year-old man from Valley Stream on March 17 for acting in consort with another person previously arrested on March 11 for the theft of three checks from a Garden City law firm and cashing them in for a total loss of $4,700. He was charged with grand larceny.
A check in the amount of $1,700 was reported stolen from a Seventh Street business office on March 17.
Officers arrested a 42-year-old man from Brooklyn on Franklin Avenue and Fifth Street for felony DWI (previously arrested for DWI), possession of marijuana, unsafe lane usage and impeding traffic on March 18.
Officers investigated a criminal mischief report in Parking Field 6E on March 18 where the windshield, hood, roof and two tires of a vehicle were found damaged.
Upon investigation on March 19, Garden City detectives arrested a home health care worker for using the credit cards of an elderly male she was caring for to make multiple purchases exceeding $10,000. The subject, a 33-year-old woman from the Bronx, was charged with four counts of identity theft, four counts of forgery and four counts of possession of stolen property. On March 20, the detectives arrested another health care worker for using the victim’s credit card to make a purchase totaling $900. The subject, a 23-year-old woman from Deer Park, was charged with identity theft and grand larceny.

Upon investigation, the driver, an 18-year-old man from Elmont, was charged with driving with switched plates, passing a stop sign, unregistered vehicle and uninsured operation. In addition, the vehicle was impounded.
Officers arrested a 58-year-old man from Brooklyn at TD Bank on March 20 for attempting to withdraw $4,000 from another person’s account using a forged driver’s license and withdrawal slip. He was charged with forgery, identity theft and attempted grand larceny.
