Officers investigated a two-vehicle crash on New Hyde Park Road on May 24 where one of the vehicles, a white sedan, reportedly left the scene without stopping.
As a result of a domestic incident investigation at a Garden City residence on May 24, detectives arrested a 15-year-old teenage boy for threatening serious physical injury to another family member. He was charged with menacing.

A cup and loose change was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in a Kingsbury Road driveway on May 25.
As a result of a domestic incident investigation at a Garden City residence, officers arrested a 22-year-old man from Garden City for damaging his girlfriend’s computer tablet and vehicle. He was charged with criminal mischief.
Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at the Nassau Boulevard train station on May 26. Upon investigation, one of the persons involved in the dispute, a 22-year-old man from Hempstead, was arrested for an outstanding Hempstead traffic warrant.
On May 26, officers responded to Franklin Avenue and 2nd Street to investigate a report of a gold sedan leaving the scene after colliding with an ambulance which was operating with its emergency lights and sirens activated. No injuries were reported.
A computer tablet was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in a 3rd Street driveway on May 26.
During a seatbelt enforcement initiative on May 27, officers stopped a vehicle on Washington Avenue and issued a ticket to the front passenger for not wearing a seatbelt. In addition, the driver of the vehicle, a 61-year-old man from Hempstead, was arrested for driving while his license was suspended for a prior DWI offense, driving with a revoked registration and uninsured operation.
Firefighters and police officers responded to the Bank of America on 7th Street on May 27, where a witness stated a man pulled the fire alarm in the ATM vestibule and left the scene prior to the arrival of emergency responders. Upon investigation, there was no fire at the scene.
Garden City detectives arrested a 20-year-old man from East Meadow on May 28 for leaving the scene of a vehicle crash on Ring Road on May 25.
Officers assisted with the annual Memorial Day Parade and services on May 28.
A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle parked at the Garden City Nursery School on May 29.
