Andrew M.Thaler of Garden City, NY and Founding Partner of the East Meadow law firm, Thaler Gertler, has been selected as one of the New York – Metro area 2012 Super Lawyers top attorneys for his excellence in bankruptcy and creditor/debtor rights. Only five percent of the lawyers in the state are recognized for this honor by their peers and this professional organization.

As a federally appointed Panel Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York, Thaler has presided over approximately twenty thousand bankruptcy cases. He serves as a Mediator/Neutral for the United States Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District and the Mediation Panel of the Commercial Division of the Supreme Court, Nassau County.
