Investigators Seize Files From Hempstead Town

Investigators from the Nassau District Attorney's office seized files from the Town of Hempstead on Tuesday, according to sources.
News 12 reported that the investigators seized digital files from the town's building department related to how the town handled damage assessment in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.
According to News 12, FEMA claims that errors the town made could stop homeowners from getting correct flood insurance.
