Auer joined the Garden City accounting firm nearly 14 years ago as a senior accountant and rose to her current role as supervisor, in which she has substantial management responsibilities and works closely with the firm’s managing partner and other leaders. Auer, who supervises some of the firm’s largest engagements, specializes exclusively in auditing, financial reporting and government reporting as pertaining to labor unions, Taft-Hartley multi-employer benefit plans and nonprofit organizations. Earlier in her career, the certified public accountant was a staff accountant with Astoria Federal Savings as well as a junior accountant with the accounting firm Marvin Klein.
