Lacrosse Unlimited Wins Readers' Choice Award

Lacrosse Unlimited is Garden City Patch readers' go-to store for sports gear.

The Franklin Avenue business beat out other top local competitors this week for a coveted Readers' Choice Award, garnering 60 percent of the votes in our poll.

The store, which opened in March 2011, sells lax equipment, apparel and accessories for men and women, including custom items and Garden City-specific gear. It also offers stringing services.

Lacrosse Unlimited has been so successful in Garden City so far, that in October Patch reported that the business was having a hard time keeping some items in stock.
