Man Found Lying Dead On Nassau Street

Police are investigating the death of a man who was found on the street early Sunday morning in Hempstead.

According to police, the Hempstead Police Department received a call at 6:50 a.m. Sunday for a man lying on the ground on Thorne Avenue. When they arrived, police found the man was dead.

The man has not yet been identified, and police believe his death to be suspicious. The investigation is ongoing.
