Man Found Shot To Death On Nassau Street

Nassau Police are investigating a murder that occurred in Hempstead early Monday morning.

According to police, officers responded to a Shot Spotter activation on Burnett Street at 2:25 a.m. When they arrived, they found a 34-year-old man lying on the ground in front of a home on the street. He was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead by doctors.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
