Man Robbed Nassau Gas Station At Gunpoint: Police

Police are searching for the man, who robbed the gas station in the early morning hours.

Nassau Police are searching for a man who robbed a Hempstead gas station at gunpoint in the early morning hours of Nov. 2.

According to police, the man entered the Valero station at 404 Clinton St. at 2:56 a.m. He pointed a black handgun at a 26-year-old man working in the store and demanded cash from the register. The employee gave him cash, and the robber fled in an unknown direction on foot. No one was injured.

Police say the robber was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, a face mask and sneakers.
