Man Shot Two Others On Nassau Street After Argument

Police are looking for the masked man, who fled after shooting two other men.

Nassau police are searching for a man who shot two others after an argument in Hempstead escalated early Wednesday morning.

According to police, an unknown man approached two other men, ages 20 and 22, in front of 50 Jackson St. at 4:45 a.m. The three got into an argument, and the man then pulled out a gun and shot the two others. He then fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The two men were driven to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The shooter was wearing a ski mask. There's no further description.

Detectives request anyone with information about this shooting to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
