Nassau Man Assaulted Officer During Arrest: Police
Police say the man injured the officer while he was resisting arrest.

A New Hyde Park mas was arrested on Wednesday after police say he assaulted an officer during an arrest.
According to police, Giovanny Bien-Aime, 27, of 4th Avenue, was trespassing in Walgreens, located at 2282 Jericho Turnpike in Garden City Park, at 1 p.m. Officers were called to the scene and tried to place him under arrest.
Police say that Bien-Aime resisted arrest by flailing his arms and kicking his legs. He pushed one officer, police say, which caused the officer to fall and sprain his shoulder. Bien-Aime was eventually placed under arrest and taken to a hospital for evaluation. The officer was also taken to a hospital for treatment.
