Nassau Man Attacked, Knocked Unconscious By Robber

Nassau police are searching for a man who knocked another unconscious in order to rob him on Saturday night.

According to police, the victim was outside of a deli on Nassau Road in Uniondale at 10:10 p.m. when he was struck in the back of the head, briefly knocking him unconscious. When the man came to, he saw his attacker going through his pockets. The attacker fled in an unknown direction with the victim's cash. The man went home and called the police.

The attacker was a thin man about 6 feet tall, wearing a black jacket and black ski mask.

Police are asking anyone with information about this attack to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
