Nassau Man Dies From Injuries After Being Hit By Car
Police say the man was hit by a car while crossing a street Friday night, and succumbed to his injuries 48 hours later.
A Hempstead man died Sunday night from injuries he received when he was hit by a car on Friday, police say.
According to police, Julian Angel Tezen-Morales, 32, of Wellington Street, was running across Clinton Street when he was hit by a 2014 Toyota 4 Runner at 7:16 p.m. Police say the driver stayed at the scene.
Tezen-Morales was taken to Winthrop Hospital and died from his injuries just after 8 p.m. Sunday night.
