Nassau Police ID Man Gunned Down On Street

Nassau Police have identified the man who was gunned down on a street corner in broad daylight last week.

Police say that Jeffrey Lee, 23, of Roosevelt, was shot multiple times in Hempstead at 12:07 p.m. on Oct. 12 while standing at the intersection of Darmouth Street and Stewart Avenue. Lee was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Police ask anyone with information about this murder to call the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS, or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous, and you could receive a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest.
