Nassau Police Seeking Man In Brutal Stabbing Death

Police are seeking the public's help to find a man they say stabbed another to death Tuesday morning.

Nassau Police have identified a man they are searching for in connection with a brutal stabbing that happened in Hempstead Tuesday morning, and they're seeking the public's help to find him.

Police say that on Tuesday, May 1, the man pictured above, Roy Christmas, 36, stabbed William Pinckney, 57, of Freeport, multiple times outside a home on Warner Avenue. Police were called to the scene around 4:15 a.m. Pinckney was taken to Nassau University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead by a doctor at 4:57 a.m.

According to police, Christmas is known to use the alias "Skey." Police ask that anyone with information about Christmas's whereabouts to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS (8477). All calls will be kept anonymous, and you can earn a reward of up to $5,000.
